The DIY Guide to Wearing Your Pride

For Pride 2020, I launched Wear Pride Mag—a magazine supporting Black Trans women and celebrating the Pride movement. With Pride parades canceled due to COVID-19, the magazine showcased queer people and allies styling Pride flags as fashion statements, highlighting the movement’s diversity. It also included step-by-step guides to recreate these looks. The project was widely praised, with LGBTQ+ icons like Nina West sharing it on social media. Proceeds benefited the Marsha P. Johnson Institute.
